The honest career guide India didn't have.
Path10x exists because most career advice in India is written to sell you something — a coaching seat, a college, a course. Ours isn't. We map what a career actually pays, what it actually costs, what the real odds are, and what to do first — so a student and their parents can decide with open eyes.
Path10x is a Project10x product.
How we build a career page.
Research from primary sources
Exam statistics, seat counts, pay scales and fees come from official notifications and bodies — UPSC, NMC, NTA, IBPS, SBI, BCCI, NSDC — not coaching-site aggregators. Salary ranges are cross-checked against multiple independent surveys before we quote them.
Verify every number, then date-stamp it
Each deep-dive carries a “Sources & data vintage” block stating when its figures were last reviewed. Exam numbers change every cycle; if a page's review date is older than the latest notification, trust the notification.
Say the uncomfortable part
Selection odds, plateaus, failure rates, and what happens if you don't make it appear on every page — including the ones where the honest answer is “most people don't.” Where a figure is an estimate rather than an official number, we label it as one.
Composite stories, never real people
The career journeys on our pages are composites built from the documented salary, cost and timeline data — clearly labelled as such. We never impersonate or quote real individuals without saying so.
Spotted a number that's gone stale? Official notifications beat us the day they publish — tell us and we'll fix it in the next review pass.
